In the first session, we polished our sketching skills. We were made to sketch out live objects in limited time, we started with 1 minute and ended up with sketching each object in just 5 seconds.
The main purpose of sketching was to capture the appearance of the object being sketched.
We also learnt the basic hacks of sketching as following :
1. Draw ground
2. While sketching, try to move shoulder and not wrist
3. Do not take a memory of the object and try sketching it, just concentrate on the object and keep sketching
Later, we were asked to make cubes and think of some objects whose shape can be similar to it.
