We were first taught the difference between Drawing and Illustration. Drawing is something that comes out of interest/passion, whereas Illustration comes out of a reason.
We were introduced to concept and techniques of making a story board. We were given some examples of few characters like Mickey Mouse, which interests the public with its own appearance. Thus the Character in any story has a lead role to make the story popular.
After character, it’s the Feeling of the story that makes it worth listening, it might be fear, anxiety, etc.
Next, is the Passage and then is the Climax.
Thus, Character, Feeling, Passage and Climax are the 4 mandatory aspects that need to be given an equal importance in every story.
-> Assignment – Write a story and then sketch a story board of about 5-7 frames, each of A5 size.
