We were shown a few more examples of different designers and their works. Later, we were all taken to different sites near the college and were asked to take the pictures of whatever we find interesting.
-> Assignment – Write a poem on any one of the pictures taken describing the place through crowd, smell, environment, pattern or anything that we observe. Or, we can also personify a particular thing and write from its point of view.
AN ODE TO THE STREET
My crowded street, you inspire me to write.
How I hate the way you still, walk and run,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the crowded Thun.
Let me compare you to a sanctuary
You are more crowded, little and intense.
Snow chills the berries of January,
And the wintertime is still not intense.
How do I hate you? Let me count the ways.
I hate your terrible crowd and smell.
But thinking of your living trees fills my days,
And my hate for you is a forgiving spell.
Now I must away with an intense heart,
Remember my last words while we’re apart.
