OBJECTS AS HISTORY 3 – 22/01/2020 – DEVANSHI MA’AM

MESOPOTAMIA

This civilisation was said to have a lot of fertile land, which usually led to the formation of of cities back then. These cities were known to be mini kingdoms.  
There was always a confusion whether the people in charge are priests or the kings, or are they both. 
It was known that this civilisation was the birth of religions especially the Abrahmic religions. 
Three things that were clearly noticeable in this civilisation were - Prisoners of War, Celebrations and Active Violence. 
We were then shown a few sculptures : 
There was a Sculpture of Victory that depicted a few soldiers with arrows and other weapons, fighting in a war. Back then War was an advancement. 
Also, The Scroll of Cyprus showed us the evolution of script/language.
