In the first half, we were given the instructions about how to make the tunnel box and its prototype.
While making the tunnel box, I realised that it is not just cutting, carving and pasting. There’s still lot to this. There are many instructions and rules that need to be kept in mind while making it. Above all, I learnt being patient helps you with everything.
Name of my book is Pearl Bay, and so is the name of my Tunnel Box. As my book explains, there is a cave in every coloured city I visited, I thought of making my first layer as a cave. According to the book again, there is a massive hanging prism inside every cave, that represents the scientific theory we all learnt – diversion. The different colours I represented through a unicorn, which is colourful for me, and the white light comes out as a dove, that represent my white city. Thus my second layer being dover, third being prism and fourth being colourful unicorn. My fifth and sixth layers are the olive trees, that are the central elements of the white city, whose branches are also a symbol for peace and justice.
