DRAWING 1 – 02/08/2019 – DIMPLE MA’AM

There are some values and principles of drawing that we must keep in mind during sketching. They are as follows:

  • Shape
  • Form
  • Texture
  • Space
  • Value
  • Pattern
  • Contrast
  • Emphasis
  • Balance
  • Scale
  • Movement
  • Harmony

Later, we watched a movie, depicted through oil painting – “LOVING VINCENT” which was a biopic of the very famous painter VINCENT VAN GOGH, in which a young man comes to the last hometown of Vincent van Gogh to deliver the troubled artist’s final letter and ends up investigating the artist’s final days.

It was fun seeing how each and every scene was painted in a very free manner.

At the end, we were made to improve our quality of line.
